The Newest FREE Attraction In Western New York

We are blessed to have some amazing things for families to see and do here in Buffalo, New York and one of the newest attractions is now open!

The summer seems to be a blur and the fall will be here before we know it. If you are looking for some outdoor things to do with the family before the rush and routine of the back-to-school grind, take a walk around, or bike around, Wilkeson Pointe in Buffalo!

This was a perfect day for the family to take a walk and enjoy the view and serenity of Wilkeson Pointe.

We have four kids under the age of 9 and when we look for things to do with them, there are some boxes we try to check. For example, is it in expensive? Secondly, we love the idea of getting fresh air and not having to drive too far. If we can at least have those things, we are ready to give it a try!

The fact that we live on a Great Lake is a true blessing. Not only is there a great view, there is some pretty incredible history and when you walk around Wilkeson Pointe you can notice the remnants of what made Buffalo the Queen City of the Great Lakes while seeing the progress of Buffalo's future. The waterfront is an open canvas for development of some sort and the work that has been done at Wilkeson Pointe is a beautiful start!

I definitely recommend a trip to Wilkeson Pointe! Next time we go, I'd like to try the Kayak Launch!
