Walmart Announces 1-Day Shutdown of All Stores in New York State

Walmart has made the commitment to shut down every single Walmart for at least 1 day in New York State.

Walmart is going to be doing something really cool.

They are going to be bringing back something even cheaper than last year! Walmart is promoting that they are going to be able to give you Thanksgiving meals for less than 7 bucks per person. There is a section on their website that is live now to do your Thanksgiving shopping. All of the ingredients are in one spot and you can shop all the way through Christmas eve.

The website makes it pretty simple for you to buy. It is all pre-set with the quantities and supplies that you would need for, what Walmart thinks, is a dinner for about 8 people. For instance, there is a turkey, 2 cans of cream of mushrooms, bag of beans and so much more.

As food prices remain top of mind, more customers want to begin saving earlier and throughout the holiday season. Now through Dec. 24, Walmart is bringing back its inflation-free Thanksgiving meal at a lower price than last year to help customers save without compromising quality", according to Walmart's website.

Walmart announced that it will be closing all of its stores so that employees can enjoy Thanksgiving Day. In a world where we have seem to lost big corporations stopping business to enjoy the holidays, it is nice to see Walmart step up and let employees have off.
