It's about to get extremely busy at One Bills Drive in Orchard Park.

The start of the "legal tampering" period for NFL free agency is next Monday, while the official start of free agency is two days later on March 15th. The new league year will officially begin at 4 pm.

The Buffalo Bills will have to make final decisions (have they not already) on expiring contracts of pending free agents like Jordan Poyer and Tremaine Edmunds, along with preparing for who they want to target in free agency. They first need to create enough cap room with restructures of current contracts to get underneath the salary cap.

The trade market will heat up until the NFL Draft and while the Bills could go after free agents, a trade is a possibility as well.

There is one player we know won't be traded; two actually.

One is quarterback Josh Allen and the other is wide receiver Stefon Diggs.

Despite the fact Diggs is under contract through the 2027 season and his dead cap hit would be $45 million if the Bills let him go, there have been rumors of Diggs being traded from Buffalo -- particularly to the Dallas Cowboys, reuniting with his younger brother and Cowboys cornerback, Travon Diggs.

Not to mention that wide receiver is arguably the Bills biggest need (OL, LB, S) and trading away your number one wide receiver, who has posted three straight 100-catch seasons, is not advisable.

Stefon Diggs is absolutely not getting traded this off-season.
