If you have more than one child going back to school this year, the list of supplies you will need to buy could be lengthy. We have three kids going back this fall and there is a bunch of things on the list that caught my eye. For example, two of our kids need their own headphones to use with things like classroom iPads.

But the average cost this fall, according to a recent report, per kid for the back-to-school supplies will be around $570! Deloitte reports that: "Back-to-school shoppers surveyed plan to increase their spending on clothing and accessories (+6%), while spending on technology and school supplies is expected to decline by 8% and 3%, respectively".

The cost could be higher based on the particular school and teacher requests as well.

In New York State, schools will also start with their Cell Phone Bell to Bell policy this fall.
