Local Pizza Shop Gives “Heat” Bonus To Employees
We love stories like this.
Pesci's Pizza and Wings is the best. The owners Chris + Jim are the owners of Pesci's Pizza in Western New York and they gave all of their employees a bonus for working hard in the hot weather all this week.
Buffalo had temperatures that were floating around 90 degrees all week long and it seemed like, at times, that it was completely unbearable. That didn't stop the the owners from making sure their employees knew that they were appreciated. In every single employees paycheck they received an extra $20.

Buffalo had a chance to earn the No. 1 spot overall but was hurt by low affordability. Buying a weekly cheese pizza costs typical residents 1.91% of their annual income — 30% more than the average city's cost of 1.47%.
