Kim Pegula Breaks Down The Huddle For Buffalo Bills Training Camp

The Buffalo Bills were able to take part in a very special moment today at training camp as one of the owners was able to return to the field for the first time.

It has been years since many of us have seen Kim Pegula.  She is the co-owner, along with her husband Terry Pegula, of the Buffalo Bills.

Unfortunately, a few years ago, she experienced a very traumatic health event that has kept her out of the public eye.  Today, however, she came back out to support her team back out on the field.

What happened to Kim Pegula?

In June of 2022, shortly after celebrating her 53rd birthday, Kim Pegula went into cardiac arrest.  The Associated Press had reported that she was being treated at the hospital and would be released to undergo what they called a lengthy rehab process.

The public was asked to grant the Pegula's their privacy during this time.

Last season, Kim returned to watch pre-season practice

In July of 2023 the AP reported that Kim had made an appearance at practice.  However, she remained in a vehicle that was parked in the end zone at St. John Fisher College where the Bills hold camp before the season.

Kim is still struggling, but she appears to be making strides

As you watch the video of Kim helping Josh Allen to break down the huddle with the rest of the team, you can tell that she is struggling.  However, you can also see that along with her husband Terry, she was able to walk out on to the field which is something that she hasn't done for over two years now.  it's clear that there's still more progress to be made, but it's incredible to see her back out there, still fighting.
