The Buffalo Bills have certainly faced a fair amount of adversity this year.  They say it helps form character.  Hopefully, the adversity will take a break for this week...at least for the Bills.

The Detroit Lions are hoping to ride a 3-game win streak into a Thanksgiving day win over the Bills on Thursday.  But it looks as though they'll be facing Josh Allen and the Buffalo offense without one of their starting cornerbacks.

According to Pro Football Talk, starting Lions cornerback Jeff Okudah suffered a concussion in the first half of their win against the New York Giants.  Because of the quick turnaround between that game and the next one on Thursday, it doesn't look like Okudah will be able to clear protocol and play against the Bills.

There is still a chance he could play.  He has not been ruled out officially, but it doesn't look likely. Lions' head coach Dan Campbell thinks it's nearly impossible that he will be able to play.

“He’ll be out I’m pretty sure. We just talked about it; I don’t think there is any way possible he can play.” - Dan Campbell, Lions head coach on the possibility that Okudah will be able to play on Thursday

The Bills have been no stranger to injury this year.  Already they've played games without starters like Tremaine Edmunds, Matt Milano, Jordan Poyer, Micah Hyde, and more.  They actually haven't played with every starter in place in their secondary since week 2.

The Bills are hoping to stack a couple wins in a row this weekend to continue the momentum after their win over the Cleveland Browns in Detroit on Sunday.
