Chick-Fil-A Is Getting Rid Of This Beloved Menu Item

Several have even opened along the New York State thruway in their remodeled service areas.

The popular chicken chain has a few nutritious options for health-conscious customers, but one of the healthiest options available will be disappearing from their menu.

Chick-Fil-A Removing Side Salad From Their Menu?

It’s a sad day for fans of Chick-Fil-A’s side salad.

Customers will be disappointed to find out that they’ll soon no longer be to order it at their local Chick-Fil-A, including in New York State.

Several Chick-Fil-A’s across the country have announced that they’ll no longer be carrying side salads at their location, and customers are bummed.

Chick-Fil-A’s website, which still has the salad available to order, describes it as  “a fresh bed of mixed greens, topped with a blend of shredded Monterey Jack and Cheddar cheeses and grape tomatoes…Served with charred tomato, crispy red bell peppers and choice of dressing.” 

That sounds a lot more appetizing than the bland side salads served at other fast food restaurants.

Chick-Fil-A Confirms Side Salad News

Even though many on social media thought it was a nasty rumor, a rep for the fast food chain confirmed the news to the Today Show.

 “In order for our Restaurant Team Members to continue to deliver quality food and signature hospitality, at times we have to make difficult decisions to help simplify our menu. Starting April 3, the Chick-fil-A Side Salad will no longer be offered in our U.S. restaurants.”

The good news is that they’ll have other healthy options to order from their menu, like the Spicy Southwest Salad and Market Salad.

But for fans of their beloved side salad, you’ll have to figure out something else to order with your nuggets after April 3rd.
