Unique Buffalo Police "Superbowl Champions" Patch

The patch is a white patch with the words "Buffalo, NY" written in blue and the word "Police" written in red.  It has the Bills charging buffalo on there in full color and the words "Superbowl Champions 2023" in gray.

Why does this patch exist?

The story from the seller is that these patches were actually printed up before the Bills got knocked out of the playoffs by the Cincinnati Bengals in the divisional round.

These kinds of things happen all the time in sports.  How do you think they get hats immediately following big championship games?  They print up "champion" hats for both teams and that way whichever team wins will be able to put on a "champion" hat immediately.  There are all kinds of rumors about what happens with the losing team's "champion" hat (or t-shirts).

How much is it?

At the time that this article is being written, the bid is currently at $9.99 with a shipping cost of $3.99.  However, if you don't want to wait until the Ebay auction is over, the company that originally printed them for the police department claims that instead of making the department pay for them, they would sell them for collectors to grab up.

These patches had already been produced prior to the Bills getting knocked out of the playoffs. Because we felt bad for them, we didn't make them pay for them.
