Hot Mess: Light Skin -vs- Dark Skin

Just imaging getting a flyer that says “Light Skin –vs- Dark Skin” and they calling it the most anticipated party of the year! What would you do? Would you attend?

Well some promoters in Downtown Columbus, Ohio got together to create a party based on the color of your skin  taking place on, of all days...Martin Luther King weekend!

Why is this still going on??? With Black History month on the way and Martin Luther King Birthday this Monday why are we as a people still coming to such ignorance? I feel that the promoters of this demonstrate a true mis-education of some African Americans. It’s sad because it’s evident that the promoters were not educated in the history of inter-segregation within the African American community, smh When will we learn? What do you think?
