Going to the Movies Alone

As a young kid my trips to the movie theater only came during Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays. Once I graduated from high school I dated a young lady who was the Asst. Manager of movie theater.  So of course I enjoyed the perks that came with this relationship. Through this new hobby I developed  a love for watching 1st run movies especially on the night the movie came out. Going to the movie alone is something I don't hesitate to do, as a matter of fact I much rather enjoy a movie without interruption and without people asking questions. Some how our society as found a way to paint a picture that anyone who goes to the movies by themselves must me lonely and or pathetic, when actually it's the person who thinks like this that I wonder about.
