French Montana ignited a firestorm of criticism on Twitter after the rapper got into a heated exchange with a woman.

She tweeted “The fact that French Montana thinks anyone cares about him.” We're sure that's not the worst thing anyone's said about French Montana--but he found the tweet (interesting considering she didn't @ him) and lashed out.

“U musty crusty dusty rusty a*s h--," he tweeted in response. "With them nappy ass poetic justice braids take your c-- drinking D--- banging ass somewhere n be humble.”

Twitter did not take kindly to Montana, who is Moroccan, using a term like "nappy" to describe a Black woman's hair.

"Headasses are using the "he's from Africa" to justify French Montana's bs," tweeted one person. "You do know there's non-black people that come from Africa right?"

"Y'all want French Montana's culture vulture ass to be Black soooooo bad!" added another. "BUT HE'S NOT."

French tried to defend himself. "My son is black, and I was born in africa I lived there for 13 years," he tweeted. "I ain't no punching bag, and I don't discriminate !don't come for me."
