UPDATE:

Fetty Wap is taking his misdemeanor battery case to trial. On Thursday (Oct. 31), the New Jersey rapper pleaded not guilty to one misdemeanor count of battery at his arraignment. According to the Las-Vegas Review-Journal, Wap is expected back in court on Dec. 16.

ORIGINAL STORY:

Fetty Wap has reportedly been charged with battery in relation to an altercation he got into at a Las Vegas casino back in September.

On Saturday (Oct. 19), TMZ reported the New Jersey rapper has been charged with one count of misdemeanor battery for hitting a security guard at the Mirage Hotel & Casino during a tense standoff.

The celebrity news site has also obtained video of the dust-up. In the clip, Fetty is outside of the casino and appears to be having a tense conversation with two men who seem to be security. It looks like the men are attempting to stop the "Trap Queen" rhymer from proceeding to where he is trying to go.

More security quickly gathers and things get more heated when Fetty rushes forward and pushes one of the men. A melee ensues and Fetty falls to the ground. After getting up, Fetty throws punches at a nearby security guard before being tackled to the ground again.

As previously reported, Fetty was initially arrested and booked on three counts of misdemeanor battery. He stayed in custody a few hours before bailing out of jail.
