Fantastic News For Bills Fans This Week Against the Patriots
In case you've missed the buzz around Western New York, the Buffalo Bills have a huge game next Monday against the New England Patriots at Highmark Stadium.
It's the Bills second Monday Night Football game of the season (Tennessee Titans), but unlike the Titans game, this one will be played at home. It's the Bills fourth season in a row with a primetime matchup against New England.
The Patriots are technically first in the AFC East at 8-4, over the 7-4 Bills, although New England had played one more game than Buffalo as they have yet to have their bye week.
The Bills will face a tough test since the Patriots have one of the best defenses in the NFL, but they got some great news on Tuesday afternoon.
The Bills announced that both rookie tackle Spencer Brown and defensive tackle Star Lotulelei were taken off the Reserve/COVID-19 list, and means both are on track to return to game action this Monday.
Not only that, but guard Jon Feliciano, who has missed the last several weeks, returned to practice on Tuesday and looks to also be on track to finally return to the Bills offensive line.
Offensive tackle Tommy Doyle was also placed on the Reserve/COVID-19 list.
It cannot be understated how important getting these three players back is. Spencer Brown has played very well at right tackle and it allows Daryl Williams to stay at right guard, which he excels at more than playing right tackle.
Feliciano back at left guard solidifies the line with Mitch Morse at center and Dion Dawkins at left tackle.
Lotulelei back at defensive tackle will allow more room for the edge rushers, and the linebackers such as Matt Milano and Tremaine Edmunds.
The Bills are playing a tough defense, and an offense in New England that loves to run the ball.
Getting these three players back for Monday Night Football is gigantic for the Bills chances..
