Born in Detroit, Michigan I spent most of my life pursuing my interest in music. It started at my local high school radio station which broadcasted daily programming over an FM frequency. My first big break came several years, and hundreds of mix tapes later, when a local radio station in Detroit, discovered my raw talents and hired me to produce a weekly mix show that grew to become number 1 mix show in the market, while expanding to several nights a week. After attending college and acquiring the credentials necessary for me to pursue my carrier, I began submerging the markets with demos which landed me my next gig at a local gospel station, in Detroit....there I engineered and produced live broadcasts and programmed gospel music full-time. Shortly after that I accepted an offer for part-time work in Lansing, Michigan, about 200 miles north of Detroit, hosting a Saturday night mix program and doing afternoon drive on Sundays. Later I was offered a full-time position there which I declined in order to pursue an on-air position that I was offered at a top rated station in Detroit. This is where I began taking advantage of the opportunity to learn from some of the best in the business while developing my skills in a large market. Hearing of a full-time, on-air, opportunity in Flint, Michigan, about 80 miles north of Detroit, I pursued it and was hired to program, produce, and host the 6-10pm hip-hop shift. After making it mid-Michigan’s #1 prime time radio program, I was promoted to host afternoon drive where I succeeded at bringing the 2-6pm time slot to a new level of success. After working at several stations across the south, I landed back in Detroit/Flint before coming here to the Queen city....the rest is history!!!
