Jay Hicks brings over 15 years of industry experience and knowledge to the table. As one of the youngest Program Directors in Urban Radio he has the experience and vision to "refresh" and "lead" the new era of the music industry. Born on the west side of Detroit, Jeremiah Hicks (known as Jay Hicks) grew up in a neighborhood rich with family, culture, and music. After graduating from Detroit Catholic Central high school , Jay Hicks would go onto pursue his academic career at Michigan State University to study Communications. While attending school in East-Lansing, Jay was able to find an on-air/part time position at the urban radio station Power 96.5.
