For those of you who don't know, The Sing Off is an all A Capella  show that blows the other "competition" spectacles out of the water. Unlike American Idol, America's Got Talent, etc, The Sing Off showcases the raw talent off each group by using their voices and their voices only.

The Sing Off premiered its second season two Mondays ago on NBC and was an instant hit. Here we are, on the night of the finale. Committed, The Backbeats, Jerry Lawson & The Talk Of The Town and Street Corner Symphony have been singing like they've never sung to win $100,000 AND a recording contract with Sony Music.

My vote since Day 1 has gone to Committed. 6 young men from Alabama who grew up in the church and can bring soul to any song they're given. They stole the show on the first night with Maroon 5's "This Love." A popular rock/pop song from 2004 that took Maroon 5 and their career to a whole new level. Now, in 2010, Committed has taken the song and put more passion in it than should be humanly possible. They swept the audience out of their chairs and onto their feet with ease.

Night after night, Committed has been committed to bringing the audience along on a soul-filled roller coaster of beautiful crescendos and intricate runs that leave judge Shawn Stockman (of Boyz II Men) speechless time and time again. "Your voice is so butter" he said to group member Terry. "It's not about anything else but the feeling. And you guys give a feeling, to me, and I'm sure everybody else, that it just stirs your soul."  My sentiments exactly, Mr. Stockman.

On Wednesday night, each group performed two times. A medley of songs from one artist was first, then, a song picked by the judges. Committed let loose to serenade the ladies with an Usher medley and put their classy front on for a beautiful rendition of "Let's Stay Together." They delivered a wonderful performance with heart-stopping harmonies and unique arrangements.

Voting has ended and the winner is hours away from being announced.  To witness for yourself the musical bliss of Committed, go to www.NBC.com/SingOff to watch previous performances.  I, for one, can't wait. Each of the groups have given their all, but Committed never ceases to blow me away with their singing swag.
