Armor Fire Co. Craft Fair/Show

You are invited to one of the longest traditions in the Southtowns. This weekend, it’s the two-day craft fair at The Armor Volunteer Fire Company in Armor.

This year‘s craft fair will run Friday and Saturday, November 5 and 6th and will have plenty of great ideas for decorating and gifts for your special someone on your shopping list this year.

With a shortages in place, you may be wondering will you have the ability to get those gifts you want in time for Christmas? But it’s craft fairs like this and local vendors who really make the difference in a time like this. Shopping local allows you to grab your purchase immediately so there is no worry about what is going to be under the tree when Christmas morning rolls around.

There’s an added bonus to the show, as it is right around the corner from the annual Christmas in the Country craft fair on the Hamburg Fairgrounds. It makes for the perfect weekend for those who love to shop and browse around some really unique decorating ideas. That special ornament that you want for your Christmas tree this year may just be waiting for you at either one of these great craft shows.

Each year, we try to buy an ornament for our family Christmas tree. We switched to artificial a few years ago out of convenience and are able to put our tree up much earlier and enjoy it a little longer. I do prefer a natural tree and we will eventually switch back to it when the boys get a little older. But for now it is nice to have that tree up as early as Thanksgiving day to enjoy all the great decorations that we’ve gotten over the years.

The tradition continues at The Armor fire hall on Clark Street in Armor this weekend and is a perfect way to get into the holiday spirit. With a little bit of snow in the forecast in the upcoming week, Time to get your Christmas shopping in order.
