12 Hurt In NYC East Village Explosion

Earlier today, an explosion was reported in the East Village of New York City. Officials are now reporting that 12 people were injured in the explosion. The buildings at 121 and 123 Second Ave. were the sites for the explosion and the building 123 actually collapsed.

“When I went outside, I saw people running and broken glass everywhere,” said the neighbor, a music producer who gave his name as David.

Flames and debris covered the block as emergency crews came to the aid of the residents. Praying for the families affected.
