This Christmas, rapper Young Jeezy stopped in Macon, Georgia to give away thousands of toys to local kids. He visited the Booker T. Washington Community Center for the fifth year in a row and the children were all smiles as the superstar addressed the crowd.

Jeezy explains he didn’t want to link up with a big corporation, but instead wanted to do the giveaway personally “I feel its my responsibility” Jeezy adds.

I think this tells a lot about Young Jeezy’s character. He cares about the community and the people in it. So many of today’s youth look up to celebrities and somewhat idolize them, so it's nice to see them out doing positive things. I think Jeezy is setting a great example by giving back. Meek Mill, The Game, Tyga and 2 Chainz are among other rappers who had Christmas drives as well. Young Jeezy will be performing live in Rochester, N.Y. January 12th at the Main Street Armory.
