Would Dr. King Be Disappointed In America Today?

In my opinion yes and no!

He would be proud to have the first African American elected as president of this country. Individuals succeeding in sports and athletics and all the other accomplishments that African Americans have made in America.

Although I do not think that he would be at all impressed with the current condition of our communities; single parent homes, high levels of incarceration, unemployment, poverty, domestic violence, black on black crime and all the other horrible things that are occurring in our society today.

We have got to move on beyond the dream and begin to manifest our true nature, heritage and identity if we are going to truly overcome in the world at this time!
