Genesee County Sheriff Officials arrested Heather M. Ace after her twin sons, Michael and Micah Gard, died in a house fire. She allegedly left the 2-year-old boys alone in the house, according to WGRZ. Ace was charged with two counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child. The fire occurred on May 20th at her house, which is located off State Street Road in Batavia. Fire officials believe the fire started inside or near the boys' bedroom. She is accused of not arranging to have someone watch the twins while she left the home for about an hour and a half. The fire was noticed around 10 pm, when a neighbor saw smoke inside the house and called 911. Authorities say the boys died of smoke inhalation. The fire is still being investigated.  Rest In Peace little angels!
