Just days after receiving three Grammy nominations for “See You Again,” Wiz Khalifa garnered a nod today (Dec. 10) for Best Original Song for the 2016 Golden Globe Awards.

The elegiac song, which also features Charlie Puth, is a tribute to late actor Paul Walker and appears on the Furious 7 soundtrack. Also nominated was Sam Smith’s “Writing’s on the Wall,” which is featured in the James Bond film, Spectre.

Upon hearing the news of his Golden Globe nod, Wizzy went on his Twitter to thank his fans for making the song a huge chart-topping hit in 2015 (it spent 12 non-consecutive weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart).

“Thank you Taylors for all your love and support. Thank you for making this a big year. We got more to do. Gang or Die,” Wiz tweeted. “Shoutout to @goldenglobes for not [being] afraid to have a known stoner at your event.”

However, we must mentioned that Straight Outta Compton did not receive a single nomination, despite the film's box office success and positive reviews. Talk about a huge snub. Nevertheless, Will Smith did get a Best Actor nomination for Concussion.

The 73rd Golden Globe Awards will air live from Beverly Hills, Calif., on Jan. 10 at 8PM ET on NBC.
