Budding pop star Willow Smith took another step forward in her music career this week with the release of the music video for her debut single "Whip My Hair."  Willow, the nine-year-old daughter of Hollywood stars Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith, told MTV News on Tuesday that having her friends on set made shooting the clip much easier.  She said, quote, "Having my Warriorettes there, my best friends caring - Jade, Angel Punky, they're just all my best friends - and my family there just made it even better."  Willow admits that making a video isn't easy, but she understands that it's part of the process of being a musician.  She adds, quote, "It was a long day...It was hard sometimes, but, like, if you have a commitment to that, you have to stick with it."
Willow Smith's "Whip My Hair" is her first single as a member of Jay-Z's Roc Nation label.  The track began receiving airplay last month, and has reached number five on Billboard's Bubbling Under Hot 100 Singles chart.
