On Tuesday, I asked you to give us suggestions at WBLK.com on what we should talk about today on “Know Thyself Community Wednesday”.

John Mace left his suggestion, and apparently he is concerned with our youth, as most of us are, because they are the future of the community and this country. We have often said and have had discussions on “Know Thyself Community Wednesday” about our youth and the many challenges that most of them encounter on a daily basis -- dysfunctional families, babies having babies, materialistic influences and many other persuasions that manifest in their daily lives!

The African proverb “It takes a village to raise a child” (in my opinion) means more today than ever before, and if our community could embrace this moral/truth collectively, we would inspire more of our young men and women to understand what it truly means to “Know Thyself”.
