In 1978 a young lady by the name of Yvette Marie Stevens (a.k.a. Chaka Khan) released the song “I’m Every Woman” that went all the way to number #1 on Billboards R&B Chart and stayed there for 3 straight weeks. This was the song that launched Chaka’ career as a solo artist and she was definitely the hottest thing smoking in the early 80’s!

The late Whitney Houston did her version of the song in 1993 and although it did not reach the #1 position on the chart (only reached #5) it was certified Gold. So now the big question is, which of the two versions is the best in your opinion?
