Now today’s one hit wonder at one was a very interesting one due to the lyrics in the hook of the song “White Horse”. It is by the duo Laid Back who originated out of Denmark and was released in 1984.

Actually, the song did quite well on the charts peaking as high as #5.

Now, let’s discuss the questionable lyrics of the song that says: “if you wanna ride, you gotta be a [expletive]”. Now of course we play an edited version of the song even though the b-word is permissible on the air. But when you listen to the song, what is their message by using this type of phrasing?
