What Role Does Racism/Religion Play In The Presidential Election ? [POLL]

One of my friends sent me a picture of President Obama being hung from a noose in Raleigh, NC. This election has probably been one of the most heated elections in the history of politricks ...politics. I think one of the reasons people are getting all wound up about politics this go around, is because of the problem that has plagued America since the inception of this country RACISM/RELIGION.

I find it funny and sad how everyone continues to use the concept of race. There is only one race, that is the Human Race. We all are products of different ethnic backgrounds but we are all of the same race.

The concept of race was developed by those who would put forth the argument that skin color denotes intellectual superiority or inferiority. To continue to use it today as a divisive word just reinforces that erroneous doctrine. Politicians love that people still use it, because it allows them to set up groups of voters that they can then tailor their speeches and promises to, in order to court their votes.

People of all ethnic and religious groups should wake up and realize that the only people the politicians are serving is themselves. Obama would never have been elected were it not for "white" voters. Those who claim African Ethnicity make up about 13% of American population and an even lower number of voters.

Mitt Romney's religious background has racism written all over it. I strongly encourage you all to read the book, “Can Mitt Romney Serve Two Masters?”. Chapter 5 covers the entire atrocious race issue of Mitt’s Mormonism. I took the liberty of copying some excerpts here:

"The Book of Mormon accuses God of cursing Africans and Native Americans in the following passages of 2nd Nephi Chapter 5:

21 And he had caused the cursing to come upon them, yea, even a sore cursing, because of their iniquity. For behold, they had hardened their hearts against him, that they had become like unto a flint; wherefore, as they were white, and exceedingly fair and delightsome, that they might not be enticing unto my people the Lord God did cause a skin of blackness to come upon them.

22 And thus saith the Lord God: I will cause that they shall be loathesome unto thy people, save they shall repent of their iniquities.

23 And cursed shall be the seed of him that mixeth with their seed; for they shall be cursed even with the same cursing. And the Lord spake it, and it was done.
“Shall I tell you the law of God in regard to the African race? If the white man who belongs to the chosen seed mixes his blood with the seed of Cain the penalty under the law of God is death on the spot.”"
