VH1 recently published a press release confirming the cast of their TLC biopic, Crazy, Sexy, Cool: The TLC Story. Since then, Keke Palmer (Ice Age: Continental Drift), who was cast as Rozonda "Chilli" Thomas, has been dropping details about filming -- which will begin in Atlanta in a few weeks, according to Palmer.

And while VH1 has set the cast in stone, a huge uproar still remains from fans who believe Palmer and her co-stars won't do the R&B trio justice.

The women set to portray the late Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes and Tionne "T-Boz" Watkins, rapper Lil Mama (America's Best Dance Crew) and Drew Sidora (Community Service), respectively, have received the most backlash.

Lil Mama, who's best known for her 2007 hit "Lip Gloss," her infamous "Empire State of Mind" VMA crash in 2009 and her time as judge on Randy Jackson's America's Best Dance Crew, has been criticized for her lack of professional acting experience. Fans have created petitions to prevent her from being cast as Lopes, who died in a car crash in 2002.
