Brooklyn native Derrick Parson uses the term  Social Entrepreneur  to describe himself as he builds brands under his company  The Parson Group LLC. He is the founder of The Black Diamond Society™  , an endeavor which revolves around three core principles, Philanthropy, Entrepreneurship and Networking. Leaving Brooklyn, NY for college he attended the University at Buffalo and attained his BA in Caribbean Studies as well as a Paralegal Certification. He then went on to receive his MS Ed. in Educational Technology with a concentration on Distance Learning where shortly after he began developing an array of online college credit bearing courses at Bryant & Stratton College. Although very fulfilling, Derrick’s true passion lied in creating and developing his own businesses. Derrick feels his journey has only just begun, with plans on developing a technology based educational firm and magazine, a lifestyle store and lounge suited solely for larger and taller framed men, as well as becoming a super connector, connecting people to help achieve dreams, at the age 33 he has no time to rest.
