Western NewYork Police Officer Charged With DWI

Man now this has to be the saddest thing I've seen all day. It's one thing for regular patrons to do this, but for an officer of the law to get a DWI is pretty dumb. My question is, what was this officer thinking?

According to WGRZ, Officer Nicholas Jakubowski was off duty during his February 23rd accident.He was charged with DWI, failure to yield, and aggravated DWI which is linked to his blood alcohol content reading of .19.
