Wow, it's always great when you can hire someone and help them make more money. One pharmaceutical company is planning to do just that. According to WGRZ, New York Governor Andrew Cuomo announced Thursday that 1,400 jobs will be coming  to Western New York.

Athenex, a pharmaceutical company that specializes in oncology drugs, will build a 300,000-square-foot state-of-the-art drug manufacturing facility in Dunkirk.

Athenex's North American headquarters will be located in Buffalo on the medical campus.

Five hundred jobs will be in Buffalo, and 900 jobs will be in Dunkirk at the plant. Cuomo said the jobs will be high-paying but did not give out specific salary details.
