Western New York Man Sentenced 15 Years to Life [Opinion]

Erie County District Attorney Michael J. Flaherty, Jr. sentenced Emmanuel Jenkins to 15 years to life. Seems kind of long right? That's not it, once he's released he still has to be supervised for 20 years by State Supreme Court Justice Penny M. Wolfgang.

Jenkins was known to stalk his victims in the Grant/Ferry neighborhood and lure them in with drugs. Like the usual acts, once the victim is in the abandon house, he then pulls out a weapon and demands sexual favors.

In my opinion, I believe this is a pretty good sentence, never knew that someone could receive post release supervision.
