Wegmans is planning a nearly $40 million project at its 8270 Transit Road store in Williamsville.

The 14,000 sq. ft. addition will include expanding the stores’ Market Café to a full-service restaurant, available to seat 165 people.

Our longtime customers and employees know well that we’ve outgrown our Transit Road store," says Mike Keating, sr. vice president of the Buffalo division. “We are looking forward to the day when we open the doors to a larger and beautifully remodeled store with more choice, and the first Wegmans restaurant in the Buffalo area.”
The first Pub restaurant opened in 2009 in Collegeville, Pennsylvania. It is now in five Pennsylvania stores.
The Pub by Wegmans will serve an inspired array of dishes that go beyond typical pub standards, as well as cocktails, wine and an extensive selection of craft beer.
In the upcoming weeks, the store will be looking to hire for added positions in the store, as well as food service positions for The Pub restaurant.

Full and part-time positions will be available. Interested applicants should apply at Wegmans.com/careers.
