Viola Davis Goes Natural at the Oscars

Academy Award Nominee for best actress Viola Davis stepped on to the Oscar's red carpet rockin her beautiful short locks and a strapless emerald green Vera Wang gown.  This BOLD move showed off her natural beauty that is normally hidden by the wig/weave she always wears for roles or public appearances.

She was inspired by her husband Julius Tennon, who saw the Oscars as an opportunity for empowerment.  "My husband wanted me to take the wig off," she told In-Style magazine at a pre-Oscar dinner in Los Angeles. "He said, 'If you want to wear it for your career, that's fine, but in your life wear your hair. Step into who you are!'"
