This Summer the Town of Niagara's Veterans Memorial Community Park will make some positive additions to the park to attract more tourism as well as local families. Some changes will come as soon as this spring and summer, while others are being looked at for the future. Many of the plans focus on offering more family-friendly activities that can appeal to people of all ages.

The Facility will be lit at night, allowing for extended hours for visitors, there will be concerts, as well as a Splash Pad for the kids.  There are also plans for fall and winter activities included a proposed skating rink for individuals and families.
