Using Hip-Hop To Unlock Science In School [VIDEO]

We have had several discussions about low-achieving schools, test scores and the dropout rate in Buffalo and across the country.

In fact, out of all the main disciplines in school, culturally speaking, when it comes to science, Asian students score the highest. Next in line are Caucasians, followed by African-Americans and Hispanics scoring the lowest.

But what if our schools were able to merge hip hop with science to make it interesting and more palatable to students? Well, that is just what's happening in one school in New York City!
