One of Usher’s herpes accusers might pull back her lawsuit against the singer.

According to TMZ, Laura Helm’s attorney, Lisa West, has filed a motion on Thursday (Oct. 26) stating that she could no longer “effectively represent” her client. Sources have told the outlet, that Helm fired her attorney for unknown reasons.

Now Helm is reconsidering her legal battle with Usher. She claims in her lawsuit that she had unprotected sex with Usher and got herpes. Meanwhile, Usher's attorney has already filed a motion to dismiss the case altogether. Helm has until Nov. 5 to respond to the singer's attorney.

There are still more accusers moving forward with their herpes lawsuit against Usher. One of them, Quantasia Sharpton, claimed they had sex but she didn’t contract the herpes virus. In court documents, Usher denies ever having sexual contact with Sharpton or any of the women in question.
