On Monday, Quantasia Sharpton stepped forward as the first woman to publicly reveal herself in a number of lawsuits against Usher claiming the singer had sex with women without telling them he had herpes.

Now, sources close to Usher claim the singer is denying having slept with Sharpton. According to a report from TMZ, sources say while Usher may have called Sharpton on stage with him, he absolutely did not “hook up with her.”

During a press conference on Monday, Sharpton, with attorney Lisa Bloom at her side, claimed she first met Usher at a concert of his on her 19th birthday. According to Sharpton, a security guard for Usher allegedly said the singer was “interested” in her and asked for her phone number. Later that night, Sharpton said she received a call from a “blocked number” which was Usher’s, who asked her which hotel and room number she was staying in.

“About an hour later, he arrived. We spoke for a while, and then we engaged in sexual contact. He never warned me about any STDs,” Sharpton said.

While sources close to Usher claim the singer doesn’t remember pulling Sharpton up on stage, the singer has been known to bring more than one type of woman on stage.

“[Usher] looks to bring a diverse group of people up onstage, not just supermodels,” the source said.
