The newly single Tyga is back to the bars with his latest drop, a not so subtle record directed at Birdman and his famed label. On "Cash Money," Tyga doesn't so much as diss Baby and Cash Money as much as he airs his grievances with them, namely, their failure to pay him and other signed acts.

On the track's hook, Tyga raps, "Cause I’m paid, cash money/Cash Money never paid me, but your boy did his thing/And still made, cash money/Yeah it’s mine, I could throw it in the air if I wanna." Elsewhere, he advocates for Lil Wayne's pockets as well, rapping, "I’m a hot boy, shout out Weezy Baby/If your man is loyal, nigga you should pay him," and later, "I’m a hot boy, free BG/Free the Carter 5, let the streets eat." It's worth noting that on the song's SoundCloud page, Tyga uses a "YMCMB" hashtag which seems to back up his pledge of allegiance to Wayne, but then why tack on the CMB part?

Cash Money's debts to the artists signed to the label or affiliated with it, are well documented, as last October, documents obtained by TMZ as a part of Lil Wayne's lawsuit against the label contained letters from both Drake and Tyga’s camps claiming they were not properly paid. A year prior, Tyga had expressed his frustrations with the label on Twitter, writing, "Gold album been done. my label holding me hostage so i can't release nothing. might just leak it for my fans."
