Things are looking real great for Gucci Mane

Aside from having some of the hottest songs out right now, and his upcoming wedding special airing on BET next month. It looks like the Atlanta rapper will be getting off of probation two years early.

According to documents obtained by Bossip, Gucci Mane, whose real name is Radric Davis, will reportedly get off of probation due to his “outstanding performance while on supervised release.”

Gucci’s lawyer said in the court documents, “Everything Mr. Davis has done since his release from prison evidence this change in priorities; namely, his health, family, career and his fans.”

His lawyer continued, “In the year he has been out, he has performed a countless number of times and released 4 albums. He has collaborated with dozens of artists on songs. He became engaged to his girlfriend and is set to be married on October 17, 2017.”

The judge reportedly agreed and signed off on the motion to end his probation on August 23rd and he’ll be good to go come September 19th.

Gucci spent 39 months in jail after being convicted of illegally possessing a firearm as a felon. He was ordered to pay a $5,000 prior to his release in 2016.
