Too $hort Concert Cancelled, Promoter Lacks Permit

According to reports, the Too $hort show that was scheduled to take place in Hollister, California has been canceled after local police denied a permit for the show. Too $hort was booked to hit the stage on April 22nd at the Veterans Memorial Building, the show was for all-ages, and was a family oriented event. Additionally, the promoters allegedly claimed that a local high school, bands, and rappers were invited to participate and perform at the show. Hollister police claim the application for the permit had numerous issues, the event was advertised and tickets had already been sold before the application was been approved. The promoters could re-apply for a permit if all the violations are corrected, but the city will not bend on the decision to cancel the April 22nd concert.
