“Throwback Thursday” Alice Barker Harlem Renaissance Dancer See’s Herself On Film For The First Time

She was once a Harlem Renaissance dancer in the 1930’s and 1940’s reports CBS NEWS.

The news source goes on to report that her name is Alice Barker and she is 102-years-of-age. The elder who has danced with some of the heavy-weights in the game: Gene Kelly, Frank Sanatra and more!

What’s unbelievable to most about this story is that she has never seen herself perform on film until recently, when a group of volunteers at the nursing home where she resides found classic clips of her performing!
