According to the Buffalo Police Department, this weekend there was an increase in drug overdoses. Between Friday and Sunday, there were 9 overdoses, with 3 of them being fatal, according to WRGZ. Buffalo Police Captain Jeff Rinaldo said a woman and two men died, ranging in age from 20 to 50.

Captain Rinaldo encouraged people to attend Narcan trainings that are being offered.

"We recommend anybody that has access to one of these trainings to please attend. Even if you yourself don't suffer from addiction or nobody that you know of does, you never know when you may be in a situation to save someone's life,"
