The World's Largest Pancake Griddle is located in New York State!

The 27-foot steel kitchen utensil adorns the Birkett Mills building in Penn Yan, New York, according to the New York Department of Economic Development via ILoveNY.com.

In 1987,the griddle was used to make what the Guinness Book confirmed to be the largest buckwheat pancake. The batter was mixed in a cement mixer and the pancake itself was flipped with a crane. This is pretty awesome!

I wonder how many people it took to eat the pancake and how much went to waste? I don't know about you but my limit is three pancakes and that's when they are normal size, but it'd be awesome to be able to say I took a bite out of the World's Largest Pancake!
