Congratulations to 24-year-old Kiana Byrd, she won a $300 gift card to buy baby supplies, courtesy of Buffalo Prenatal-Perinatal Network! She’s 7-months pregnant. Kiana says, “I graduated from Hutch Tech high school and I am recent graduate from Alabama A&M University where I obtained my bachelors in Civil Engineer. Shortly after graduating I found that was expecting. Unexpected and unplanned, but TRULY A BLESSING!! I’m forever thankful and grateful that God saw fit for me to become a parent!! I’m excited to be bringing a baby girl in this world come February, alongside my best friend and love of my life Keron!”

Buffalo Prenatal-Perinatal Network, Inc. is a not-for-profit organization that has been in operation for 26 years. The overall mission of the organization is to coordinate and collaborate with key stakeholders in Erie County/City of Buffalo, to increase access to and utilization of preconception, prenatal, perinatal and postpartum health care services in the community. The agency and its programs work within the community to help identify problems of adequacy, acceptability and accessibility in the delivery of these services, especially to those who are in high-need; to seek support for implementation of programs/services that help attain the agency mission; promote coordination between service providers who serve similar consumers/clients; and to provide informational and educational activities for providers and consumers, to help enable improved birth outcomes for the targeted population.

Contestants are required to provide truthful information and the Station will reject and delete any entry that it discovers to be false or fraudulent. The Station will disqualify any entry from individuals who do not meet the eligibility requirements, and the Station will also delete any entry received from persons under the age of 13 in compliance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act.
One winner will be selected based on votes accumulated through the web-site www.wblk.com Judging will be based on the highest number of votes per participant. Winners must execute and return any required Affidavit of Eligibility/Release of Liability Prize Acceptance Form within ten (10) days of notification attempt or prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner may be chosen by next qualified contestant as voted by a panel of judges.

By participating in the contest, the winner or winners agree to have their name, voice, or likeness used in any advertising or broadcasting material relating to this contest without additional financial or other compensation, and, where legal, to sign a publicity release confirming such consent prior to acceptance of the prize. Prior to awarding any prize, the Station in its sole discretion may require contest winners (and their travel companions, if any) to sign a liability release, agreeing to hold the Station, its corporate licensee, its parent, subsidiary and affiliated corporations, and the officers, shareholders, directors, employees, agents and representatives of each of them harmless against any and all claims or liability arising directly or indirectly from the prize or participation in the contest.
The Station reserves the right to make changes in the rules of the contest, including the substitution of a prize, which will become effective upon announcement. “If due to circumstances beyond the control of the Station, any competition or prize-related event is delayed, rescheduled, postponed or cancelled, the Station reserves the right, but not the obligation, to cancel or modify the contest and shall not be required to award a substitute prize.”
Failure to comply with the contest rules may result in a contestant’s disqualification solely at the discretion of the Station.
