On Tuesday, June 25, I was lucky enough to go see the upcoming movie 'White House Down' at Regal Elmwood before its scheduled release date, which is this Friday June 28.

Now if you've been living under a rock, the Columbia Pictures film stars Channing Tatum (for the ladies, yes, that is Mr. Magic Mike himself) and (funny man) Jamie Foxx. Tatum plays a Capitol Policeman name John Cale, who basically was told to his face that he wasn't good enough for his dream job, which was to be a Secret Service Agent and protect President James Sawyer (Jamie Foxx).

Wanting to win his daughter's affection, Cale takes her on a tour of the White House. Bad timing for sure, because the White House was -- yes, you guessed it -- attacked by some military group. So Cale must save his daughter the president and the White House.

To be honest, the movie did give me a 'Die Hard' feel, but that was OK with me. I love all the 'Die Hard' films. This film is filled with action, big guns, explosions, car chases and a lot of witty one-liners, plus a lil eye candy for everyone.

Foxx’s depiction of a president did at times ring Obama, and of course his humor was his biggest weapon in this film. I literally sat packed in the sold-out theater, and every punchline was met with laughter. It was a great combination having Foxx and Tatum -- Tatum may be a new action star on the rise.

This film definitely goes on the MONEY TRAIN, TWO THUMBS UP. It’s a MUST SEE from your boy SteelBoutMoney.
