R&B crooner Kem is by far one of the most relevant musicians of our time. A native of Detroit, Kem experienced homelessness, drug addiction, and isolation from his family. He is the first to tell you that his career did not take off until he connected to his spirituality and music. Now when he sits down to write a song or perform on stage, he administers spirituality to the people on stage and in his music.

In the way that he spells his first name makes the connection to ancient Kemet (Egypt). In fact, his first album was title “Kemistry” and if our community would become more conscious of their own Kemistry the world would be a better place for all of us.

Kem is now about to embark on a brand new tour in support of his new album “Intimacy”; El Debarge and Ledisi will join him when the tour begins soon.
