‘Lopez Tonight’ Cancelled By TBS

Tonight will be the final night for the George Lopez show "Lopez Tonight."  Since the time change of "Lopez Tonight" from 11pm to Midnight scheduling "The Conan O'Brien Show" ahead of "Lopez Tonight" the show's ratings have slowly decreased.  EW reported that after 2 years on TBS, the network decided not to renew Lopez for a third year. 

"TBS has reached the difficult decision not to order a third season of Lopez Tonight. Thursday will be the final episode of the show. We are proud to have partnered with George Lopez, who is an immensely talented comedian and entertainer. TBS has valued its partnership with George and appreciates all of his work on behalf of the network, both on and off the air.” [EW.com]

It was rumored that intially George Lopez was displeased with the slot change from 11pm to 12 midnight.
