Waterfront Elementary School

There is a big debate going on right now in Buffalo about closing two of the lowest performing schools in the state and turning them into charter schools. The schools are East High & Waterfront Elementary.

Tony Award, Humanitis Award, and NAACP Lifetime Achievement Theater Award winning Actor and "Lackawanna Blues" Playwright, Ruben Santiago-Hudson returns to his hometown Buffalo, NY to inspire and motivate students at the Buffalo Academy for Visual and Performing Arts, Bennett High School, Frank A. Sedita Academy, and Waterfront Elementary School on Monday, May 7.
